Dean’s Message

To the graduates of the Class of 2018/2019,

This is YOUR day. We applaud you, we honor you and we stand with you during this momentous time.

Today we recognize the accomplishments of the undergraduate students in the faculty of Health Science. Your dedicated pursuit and successful attainment of your respective degrees will allow you to make a difference in the health and well-being of our country as future practitioners, educators, researchers and leaders.

It is always a privilege to see our graduates begin another adventure – whether they are walking into a professional or graduate program or stepping into hospitals, clinics, and other areas of the health care landscape.

I would also like to give special thanks to the parents, spouses, children and friends of our graduates for their patience, understanding, sacrifices and support – both moral and financial.

Finally, I extend a sincere congratulations and best of luck to the faculty and Class of 2018/2019. You have been exceptional representatives of the faculty and University. I have no doubt that you will continue to serve as worthy ambassadors for your department by building upon our reputation for excellence.
