Faculty Of Medicine & Health Science
Dean’s Message
this is your day. We applaud you, we honor you
and we stand with you during this momentous
time.
Today we recognize the accomplishments
of the undergraduate students in the faculty
of Medicine and Health Science. Your
dedicated pursuit and successful attainment
of your respective degrees will allow you to
make a difference in the health and wellbeing
of our country as future practitioners, educators,
researchers and leaders.
You made it! You persevered through the years, studied dutifully, spent countless
hours at studies, internships and put it many late nights and early mornings.
You may have even balanced academics with both family and friends – but you
made it and is now sitting here representing the class of 2020/2021.
Regardless of your chosen area of practice, all of you have the opportunity
to enrich the lives of those around you. As you embark upon and progress
through your careers, I urge you to always remember why you chose your
respective field and the sacrifices that you endured in order to make it happen:
to serve our communities and improve the quality of life and health of its
members with compassion, honesty and integrity.
I would also like to give special thanks to the parents, and friends of our
graduates for their patience, understanding, sacrifices and support - both
moral and financial.
Finally, I extend a sincere congratulations and best of luck to the faculty and
Class of 2020/2021. You have been exceptional representatives of the faculty
and University
I have no doubt that you will continue to serve as worthy ambassadors for
your department by building upon our reputation for excellence
Regards,
