The English Skills Program, a component of the Institute of Modern Languages, is a sessional English course created in collaboration with Ednastics that improves students at Daha International University’s academic English and study techniques for greater success in their degree programs and beyond. The curriculum, which is based on the most recent best practices for teaching and learning second languages, will enable students to successfully complete their degrees in an institution where English is the primary language of instruction. Additionally, students will gain a variety of abilities, such as critical thinking and study techniques, which are essential for success in any undergraduate program provided nationally or worldwide. Because of the program’s integrated curriculum, students will study all aspects of English simultaneously through engaging, meaningful content. With the aid of useful supplemental reading materials as well as English language laboratories, students will read and listen extensively.
